Getting Around

The American Hotel is just one block from Union Station, a light rail stop from SeaTac International Airport. We are also two blocks east of King Street Station, the Amtrak train station on the routes to and from Portland (Oregon), Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), and Spokane.

Almost every bus stops across the street from these train stations, which serve as a regional transit hub for Seattle and its many neighborhoods. Buses also leave from this location to Bellevue, Everett, Kirkland, Olympia, Redmond, Renton, and Tacoma.  Using these buses, you can get to the University of Washington, Boeing, Microsoft, major hospitals and much more!
